How we worked with Moven to expand their new hotel launch across Europe

As partners with Moven, we’re always looking for new ways to help the company reach its goals. One of those goals is to spread the Moven brand across Europe, specifically into Germany and France. With the launch of a joint venture with a major hotel chain, we knew that there was an opportunity to get our name out to travelers and generate awareness of our technology.

We decided to focus on the launch and expansion of four new hotels in three cities. The Insight Consulting team created a plan for each city that included social media campaigns, personalized hotel offers, and newsletters that tied back to the deals at each hotel. The goal was to make sure that we were communicating the value of staying in one of these hotels in a way that would appeal to a wide range of users.

Realizing the power of outbound marketing

We created two tailored newsletters for each city: one that is geared toward business travelers who are frequent hotel users and another for leisure customers who may not be as familiar with our app or brand. Each newsletter paired with an offer from the respective hotel chain—we chose rooms with either extra amenities or attractive rates.

We also ran display ads across key websites in Europe such as Conde Nast Traveller, Cheapflights and Booking.com. By promoting the hotel partnerships we were able to reach both existing users and non-users of Moven's service.
